The village of Rossinver, situated at the Southern shore of Lough Melvin is an excellent centre for game fishing. There is a fishery at Eden Quay and boats and gillies are available locally. There are some spectacular walks in the area, in particular the mile long river walk to Fowley's Falls on the Glenaniff River which follows a series of waterfalls.

The Organic Centre is Ireland's leading centre for education and information on organic farming and gardening and has become a major attraction in the area.
