This scenic village along the Shannon-Erne Waterway, sits
at the foot of Sheebeg. There is a mooring for cruising traffic
and lively pubs which have traditional music sessions on a
regular basis.
It is a coarse angling centre of repute with a selection
of good fishing waters in the vicinity and an established
reputation for catering for anglers.
The area is steeped in legend and history and there are numerous
sites of historical interest nearby.

A local find, the Keshcarrigan Bowl, now features in the
National Museum in Dublin among its collection of pre-historic
gold objects.
