Keshcarrigan

This scenic village along the Shannon-Erne Waterway, sits at the foot of Sheebeg. There is a mooring for cruising traffic and lively pubs which have traditional music sessions on a regular basis.

It is a coarse angling centre of repute with a selection of good fishing waters in the vicinity and an established reputation for catering for anglers.

The area is steeped in legend and history and there are numerous sites of historical interest nearby.

A local find, the Keshcarrigan Bowl, now features in the National Museum in Dublin among its collection of pre-historic gold objects.
