Old Courthouse
Location: Ballinamore, Co.Leitrim

Built in the 1830's the old courthouse is a prominent cut-stone building which now houses the Leitrim County Library. The Leitrim Genealogy Centre is alongside. (See Visitor attractions)
Lady Baltimore's Statue
Location: Bornacoola, Co.Leitrim

(beside Johnston's Bridge)
Baltimore in Maryland, USA is named after a place in Bornacoola parish (Baile and Tigh Mor- the town of the big house). The family left Ireland and settled in Maryland and because of this link the statue to Lady Baltimore was sent back to Ireland in the 1970's and erected some years later.
Ogham Stone

St Patrick's Hospital/ Famine Memorial Garden
Location: Carrick-on-Shannon, Co.Leitrim

This was erected as a workhouse in 1841 and witnessed some of the worst horrors of the Great Famine (1845 - 48). There is now a memorial garden in the grounds of the hospital.
Errew 16th century graveyard & Kilahurk Ring Fort
Location: Carrigallen, Co.Leitrim

St. Patrick is said to have passed through this region. While there he baptised followers at St. Patrick's holy well in Aughawilliam and before leaving the region he blessed the ancient graveyard of Errew/ The 16th century graveyard is situated about 2 miles east of Carrigallen overlooking the beautiful Gulladoo Lake.
Kilahurt Fort Ring
Location: Carrigallen, Co.Leitrim

Kilahurt Ring Fort can be reached 2 km from the village. The ringfort is 500m west of Carrigallen Lough and is a good example of an early medieval enclosure.
Cloone Church Tower
Location: Cloone, Co.Leitrim

The tower of Cloone Church is all there is left of an 1822 Church of Ireland Church. It was recently restored and is a landmark from which some of the fine angling waters in the area can be seen.
